I've got my first Euro event booked for the start of March next year and I'm completely buzzing for it! It's probably a little early but I want to start getting prepared, or at least have a list of what I need. So far I have:

- bike
- leathers, helmet etc
- tool kit
- paddock stands
- fuel can
- tyre warmers + extension
- pressure gauge
- probably my clothes for the trip so I don't have to mess around with much hand luggage
- ratchet straps and covers / cushions for the stillage
- spares (not sure what I should plan for other than brake pads?!)
- tyres (probably have a day left in the current ones and then a fresh set going on)
- probably some food, snacks and drinks (guessing expensive at the track?)

The bike will be freshly serviced before going, new chain and sprockets and brake fluid change.

Also if anyone has any photos of a packed stillage for some ideas on what to put where and securing it all etc?

This is the sort of fuel jug you can take
https://www.toolstation.com/shop/Au...ans/sd3341/Laser+Plastic+Measuring+Jug/p75818

You'll basically want a full one of these per session (5l). You get fuel in 20l cans from the track organiser and then decant 5l at a time.

Re: power...it gets tricky I would take the following, as it should cover you for all types of garage;

who you going with?

bike key. i cable tied mine to the bike. also try to find out which power sockets the circuit has. some use normal 2 pin and some 3 pin and some also have 3 phase.

Wow legend thank you mate.

Extensions and adaptors I have sorted, I'm going with Focused and they said I can take fuel cans but they have to be empty, so was thinking of a 10L metal and 5L plastic?

With focused Events to Almeria.

I've just got back from Jerez.

Remember there are a lot of you there, so you can always borrow something. I always make sure i've got stuff specific to my bike. Basic tools and fluids etc. We tried to co-ordinate most things across the 15 of us so we only took 3 fuel jugs between us for example.

Make sure you write your name on stuff too, at the end its always a bit of a mess trying to get everything together, easier to see who's tyre warmers are whos etc...

I?ve done Almeria with FE, the paperwork and planning is frankly quite intimidating! My best efforts were a shambles tbh, but all the little details fade away when you get there. FE couldn?t have done more to make it easy. They have petrol for sale (you won?t care what it costs, but not unreasonable) they?ll give you a can/jug, so don?t bother taking that, they?ll all be ready to go for you. Jesus the mechanic will be on hand to help out with spares, there will be plenty of other bewildered trackdayers only too happy to share tools and tips. It?s a great track, the accommodation is perfect, weather guaranteed. You will enjoy it and you will want to go back!
Eyes on the prize and all that..

although Almeria is prob the driest of the spanish tracks,it certainly isn't gauranteed to be dry,4 out of 5 days last year was wet (on a 5 day trip),and it's seriously cold in the mornings so be carefull of tyres, ripping them more than anything else
