I have noticed it?s time to change front brake pads
do you know what make model the pads are what they put on these bikes from new.
Mine has the hp wheels ?
Many info be great

Much you thinking of spending on pads Kev... I ran SBS RS last 3 years.. pretty decent.. about 60 quid an axle set.

I bought some Goldfren GP5 @ 32 quid an axle set to howls of derision on here ..
By all accounts they get a good write up... still to fit them along with new Seria Oro discs...

If their pants I'll bin them, on the assumption I don't T Bone a motor !

100 quid plus pads... all to easy to part with your money.

nothing wrong with the standard brembo pads for road use,if track then the SBS DC pads are very good, but dont last too long.

I?m just after the pads what come with the bike to be honest
happy with how they perform they will do the job.
4000miles of stick on road I?m happy with that.
I use goldfren pads on one of my other bikes and they are not bad performance
to say how cheap they are.
Phoned up Manchester bmw they said they are just oem Brembo Sintered
I?ll have a mooch around on the net for sum
let?s hope they ain?t fake Brembo s what I purchuse.
Thanks for the info guys
appreciated as always

Brembo

Mode Performance and CarpiMoto are two very good sources for Brembo brake pads, discs and calipers.
