Notes

I'll incorporate some bits on a second version - not everything...it's for a trackday not a race team :)

No problem. My race setting sheets are a little bit more in-depth but they are not hugely different. What I do find useful is I always attach a diagram of the circuit layout highlighting gear selection and a few short comments about each corner such as braking markers, surface changes etc. It just helps jog the memory when turning up at a circuit to ride or instruct. Finally, I always keep a laminated copy of the tyre manufacturers data sheet for pressures and warmer settings in my toolbox. Other than that you don?t really need much else. Just remember to make notes about any changes you make, for better or worse, and after several seasons you soon build up a good collection of track settings and circuit knowledge to fall back on.

Rys - what series do you do? Also what suspension are you using? any top tips would be much appreciated as I've been told the BMW can be tricky to get set up right. I'm just on the DDC with front Pot. at the moment until I'm 100% sure if I'll use this bike or try and buy an already built racebike.

I have some I will share when I figure out how to upload a PDF! I won't share the stuff I use in BSB as its way more in depth and too much for most people, but for my customers I have some good generic sheets.

How do i edit my posts, i got the sheets back to front! For the website link its to a page on my site about tyre warmers and there are links for the most upto date technical data for setting track/race biased tyres from the manufacturers. Theres alot of misinformation out there that stems from bad rumour control! Again i know of a vlogger giving out bad info ref tyres, its dangerous!
