Having just come back from Almeria, and having started moving around on the bike more, I realise my leg strength needs some reinforcement. By the end of the week I was having to come in before end of sessions because my legs were cramping up.

I'm looking for some recommendation for exercises to strengthen calf & thigh muscles relevant to moving around in the foot pegs.

Any ideas welcome, particularly from more mature members ;-)
 
Thanks Alex. Yes I had a great time in Almeria. Got plenty of track time, particularly on first two days when there were only 13 & 18 riders & open pitlane.
Some rain ☔️ in latter part of the week though.

Will try some squats & leg thrusts before next time.

I was making sure I drank lots of liquids (water & orange) and was certainly well hydrated but I didn't try any electrolytes - will do next time.
