Hi, I don't know if it's been posted before but K-Tech do various Nmm rear springs for our bikes i.e 52mm one end, 57mm the other and 175mm length and in red to match. ?85. Much cheaper than Alpha or Wilbers.

I hope it's of use to lighter/heavier riders.

Do you know what nm my gen3 rear spring will be standard?

I've got a 2105 DDC and that's 95Nmm as standard.

I've spent god knows how much time researching the suspension on these things. I'm 16.5 stone in all my kit measured and I've put on a 105Nmm and it's perfect. Just keeps the rear shock out of the harsh bit of the rising rate.

Here's some info if it's of any interest.

2015 RR with DDC

Rear Spring 95 N/mm

In the left tube of the DDC fork there is a 9.5 N/mm spring. The right is 11 N/mm (2015 RR).

Earlier DDC bikes sprung lighter (85Nmm rear spring and 9.5Nmm in both fork legs)

Front forks

130 to 160 lbs 9.5/9.5 to 9.5/10.0 Nmm

160 to 190 Lbs 10.0/10.0 to 10.0/10.5 Nmm

190 to 220 Lbs 10.5/10.5 to 10.5/11.0 Nmm

220 to 240 lbs 11.0/11.0 to 11.0 /11.5 Nmm

240 to 260 lbs 11.5/11.5 to 11.5/12.0 Nmm

Rear shocks

145 to 165 lbs 85 Nmm

165 to 185 Lbs 90 Nmm

185 to 205 Lbs 95Nmm

205 to 225 lbs 100 Nmm

225 to 245 lbs 105 Nmm

245 to 265 lbs 110 Nmm

Thats excellent thanks.
My zx10 had a 115 spring and was hard as hell on the road but megga on track.
The bikes are very different so maybe a 105 might be ok for me.
Not sure what to do with the front yet

Hi,

I found the std front springs fine for me. I wouldn't compare different bikes... Everything's different. To get my Ducati 1098S perfect on the road, I went from the std 80 Nmm to 120 Nmm and junked the rising rate for a linear link. Took me a coule of summers to try everything.
