FYI the Poll doesn't show up on Tapatalk, you need to use a PC/Mac based browser.

Re: New 2019 BMW S1000RR Poll

Not overly fussed on looks. Have already told my boss that I'm borrowing the demo 2019 S1000RR for a road trip, when we get it, and will decide based on how good a road bike it is and what improvements/useful features/toys/shiny shiny it has over the Gen 3.

Voted for "see it in the showroom", because the option of "Depends on what I think after road testing it" is missing.

im starting to like the looks if this is what it will look like.

my option is to buy a new one in 2020 and let others have the teething issues.

I put a deposit down on the new bike today. Mainly because I am injured from the last race, bored and have no money so it makes me feel better to do pretend shopping! There's no news and the deposit is refundable later if I change my mind but I can't see that happening. The nice people at BMW Bahnstormer Farringdon said they are hoping for some information next month. My previous first choice was the Panigale V4 but thats starting to feel impractical because I'd need >30-35,000 to get the R version race ready if I wanted to do that in the future which is way too much for me to consider. I'm counting on BMW keeping their prices sub 20k so getting a new bike race ready should be possible for similar to the 25k it costs now with the Gen 3 which is still a shed load of cash but much more reasonable. In the mean time I'm sure it will still be a great do everything bike and more reliable than the competition like the current one.

I like look of new model if accurate. I won't be buying the new model, but might upgrade to a gen3 2018, 2nd hand or ex demo when new model comes in & dealers want to shift old stock.

Re: New 2019 BMW S1000RR Poll

Ive just changed mine to an 18 model!
On the thinking the 19 model will be smaller, at 62 the present rr is an excellent road bike. + you can get a good deal on the 18 model
