Does anyone know what the factory fork springs are rated at for the 2017 DDC? I need to get mine changed as I'm too heavy/fat/eaten way too much chocolate, edit as needed.

They are a mix
9.5 and 11.25 ish.
Bolted together they make 10.3.
Basically change them for a pair of 10.5's
Or 1x 11 and 1x 10.5 for 10.75.

Once the axle bolt is in they have the rating half way between the two springs.

But you can use air gap levels to also impact the overall stiffness.

Darren at MCT can advise better.

Cheers for that Alex, I asked as I've spoken to 3 places today and got 3 different factory spring rates and also 3 different replacement options

DDC Fork Springs

When I spoke to BMW Motorrad UK a while ago they confirmed that for 2015+ models the DDC front spring rates are 11 Nm (Right Fork Leg) / 9.5 Nm (Left Fork Leg) and the rear spring is 9.5 Nm. It's not unusual to use different spring rates in each fork leg. As already mentioned the OEM springs are mass produced items so there is some variation between bikes.
