Today I was told a number of the SuperStock rear shocks on the RR's at the TT were Touratech items...
"Touratech!?" I exclaimed? "Yes the luggage people!"

They do exist, which is news to me. But damn they cost.

I know they aren't on the Tyco's but heard they were on Hicky's.

All the pictures I?ve seen of Hickman from this year?s IOM TT in both the SBK and SSTK classes are of him using ?hlins front/rear suspension. He?s also sponsored by them and Smiths Racing switched from K-Tech to ?hlins last season as it gave him better feel.

Ok maybe not Hicky, I wasn't there, but certainly it was seen quite a lot.

I?ve heard of Touratech Suspension for Adventure bikes, I believe they do replacement shocks for the GS and KTM?s, but never knew they did replacement kit for DDC equipped RR?s.

I?m 99.9% certain the team now only uses ?hlins after switching. I will confirm at the weekend as I?m fortunate enough to be a team guest at the next BSB round.

Neither am I. It?s the same team and the bikes are built by the same people! I will just ask Hickman or one of his crew who do both the TT and BSB.
