Recently had to replace battery and I reset the quick shifter while I was at it following the info contained on here as it was pretty rough and lost a bit of confidence in using it when pushing on a bit (change up gears with clutch and keep it in each gear for at least 10 seconds), and fcuk me it is so much better than it has ever been.
Changes are much smoother, even 1st-2nd, and quicker.
The improvement is so good I?m here telling anyone who hasn?t done it to do it.

Caveat; I have had a couple of those ?hiccup? quickshifter gear changes but only two since the reset (~300km traveled) but probably rider error more than anything.

Quickshifter Reset

Performing a reset is simple. Just put the bike on paddock stands; disconnect and reconnect the battery; turn the bike on and run through each gear selecting each one for over 10 seconds.
