Get one with peak hold.
Makes it easier to get and trust a reading.
I use an oxford analogue which does the job.

I find digital ones tend to break, and or the batteries runout.

longacre or intercomp are pretty much the best out there.
reasonable priced too.
Or try the venhill which is good quality and cheap
has good ratings from ride magazine.

Venhill as mentioned twice above does the trick. No batteries to conk out when needed most. The Race X one at ?10 looks like a bargain if its accurate!

FM! Thats some wedge to spend on tyre pressures.
I mean I know they need to be right, but still...

Cheers guys food for thought apart from the last one ?270 for a pressure gauge.

Ye I Know, thank the lord that I did not have to pay for it. But its what Dunlop use so I have to use the same so get same readings as there checked every time they come in and recorded

I've got that Venhill, it's good but find it can be a PIA to get the end on the valve properly in that if it isn't lined up or sits squarely I find it lets more air out of the tyre than measure pressure, still can't get use to it.

Bought the Venhill today, found out my Oxford was well off (probably dropped too many times). Used the info in this thread to decide on my purchase.

On this thread I bought a venhill so I have 2 brands to check off each other.

Having the rear folding out of long bends isn't nice feeling cos your only 22 instead of 26/28.

A lesson was learned that day
