She's in need of some TLC...

I'll let you guys know the prognosis. the top end is sounding umm well,, pretty rattly.

making good smooth power but i think i might need another cam chain, last one was at 32k. it was hanging off the pulley like a 'wet pair of pants' according to the tech.

Have asked BMW UK for a free service at 100k...:triumphant:

Surely a timing chain should last a lot more than 30k miles. Mine had the startup rattle but I bought and fitted the revised tensioner bolt

For your 2010 BMW S1000RR

Part Number: 11318534849 Pretty sure that's the one I used ordered it from BMW there are only two and the silver one is a different depth to extend the hydraulic tensioner further to take up the slack
