Is the front brake linked to the rear

So if I pull on the front brake lever
Will that also engage the rear brake without me using the brake pedal

ABS Linked Brakes

It will depend on which Riding Mode you have selected as the ABS response is different in each one. It is well worth reading the Owner?s Manual for your particular model year as it explains each Riding Mode and it?s functionality. You can also turn ABS off.

Slick mode (or it?s respective User Mode setting) is the only mode which deactivated ABS at the rear.

The other modes Rain, Sport and Race alter how sensitive the ABS is, all are linked though to what percentages I don?t know.
In these modes, pulling the front brake lever partially activates the rear brake. However, if you only use the rear break the front brake does not activate

I personally like the ABS setting in Race, unless it?s Winter in which case I change to Sport

Owner's Manual

For the 2015+ model see pages 144-150 of the Owner's Manual for Riding Mode information.
