Second hand Rad? Gen 2?

Mine just emptied itself over the front tyre and calipers on the M23.... the hole is top right and not in the squashed fin zone behind the tyre. done 54k

appreciate anyone have a spare? or tips on where to go?

Main Dealer collecting to inspect, warned the front tyre and pads could be 'contaminated'.. shame they're both new... sigh.

I'd also do what Jay suggests and send to a reconditioner.
If they can't fix it they will say. Dealer will not try to fix it.

Is the Gen3 the same?

Theres a guy Mark Baker on the s1000rr Facebook group breaking a gen 2 he might have one for a reasonable price

i needed a swift fix so Chandlers just cracked on. They drove a Van up to london with a loaner, took mine back to the shop and 24 hours later it's done and i'm back out!

Tyres and pads weren't ruined by the coolant as i was warned. So not too horrible. ?600 all in and i've a box fresh OeM rad...:cheerful:

plus i've fitted EVO Tech red & oil guards now! fingers crossed for another 50k before it pops again
