After wanting one for so long I?ve finally bought one! Bought it in Wales earlier this week and had it couriered across on the ferry last night so got it this morning.

1000miles on it and a few HP goodies, plus the Arrow can. I?d always wanted an SC Project so may change that.

At the minute I?ll just be cleaning it as I?m heading back to work for a month on Tuesday. Looking forward to getting it out in March though, it?s killing me already!

Looking good gav. The hp parts are always nice to have as well. I hope you manage a few miles before you go away. Go on, go on, go on, go on, go on..... lol.

That’s some set up in the garage!
Ive got a poxy shed as the garage was converted to a play room :mad-new:

Cheers lads, the shed is handy to have. Bit industrial, but does the job. Plan is to build a proper heated garage eventually and use the shed as the workshop.

I do like the look of the Arrow, but always had my heart set on an SC. Suppose I best start the thing up to see what it sounds like first lol

Have the receipts for all the HP parts......glad I never paid for them myself!

The best gen bike in the best colours - apparently :D

Congrats - hope weather's good for when you get to put some miles on her! Where's its first trackday going to be?

Cheers! More than likely Kirkistown or Bishopscourt I?ve really here. Need to get back round Kirkistown as last time out on the Gixxer last August is when I binned it at 120mph on the fastest corner. Buying a track bike anyways so once I?m back to full confidence on it I?ll get the RR round. Also would like to do a European track or two

Finally back from a month at work and now have a month off to get to know the bike. Was snowing quite bad when I got home so still haven?t ridden the thing!
Bought a few bits and pieces when I was away including crash protection, rad and oil cooler guards, motodynamic tail tidy and integrated rear light and I?ve my registration number put on the bike now so have a 7x5 plate to stick on.

In anticipation of the good weather, I?ve moved it into the warmth of the house to give it a good clean and a coat or two of polish. Wife not happy, but I think she secretly likes it lol.

Your house looks amazing! Nice bike too! Excited for warmer weather too

The bike looks great Gav. I like the motografix tank pad and tail stickers!

Not at all jealous of your industrial workshop or dealership showroom :redface-new:

Thanks guys, has taken a bit of hard work, time and money but we’re getting there slowly. Were only ever going to build the one house, so just put everything into it to try and get it right first time, which has not been the case with a few things!

Anyways, forecast is a dry day for Friday here, so will start into the bike now and get all the bits fitted. Will update with photos later!

What a staircase, that’s a work of art in itself.
The bikes not too shabby either. :biggrin-new:

Everything looks grand Gav, nothing like building it to your needs.

The staircase looks stunning but you could have put a new HP carpet under your yoke, it looks like its leaking like and old Gixxer, lol.

Lol Jimmy you're not far wrong as it was the Gixxer spilt oil all over that mat!

Had a bit of time today so got stuck in and fitted a few bits.
Motodynamic tail tidy and sequential rear light along with my plate, r&g crash bungs and fork protectors and lastly radiator and oil cooler guards.

Going to polish it tomorrow and then hope for a good day Friday to finally get out on it!

My goodness, How much do you charge per bike to clean?

Finally got out for a spin today for the first time ever on an RR! Holy good feck, I love it!

Way easier to ride quick compared to my K5 GSXR750, and a lot smoother thanks to the fly by wire throttle. Quick shifter and pops and bangs are comical also lol. Doesn?t feel like a big bike either, plus it?s comfortable.

Definitely made the the right choice and can?t wait to get out on Sunday again all being well :tickled_pink:

Another quick blast today, this time with the mate on his RSV4. Never really got a chance to fully open them up, but saving that for Sunday all being well. Have to say though, the Aprilia sounds amazing!

Another day, another 130 miles on the bike for the craic. Couple of laps of the circuit were done, still finding my feet with the RR but getting more and more comfortable
