Will try the pirrellis next time

Think you'll be pleased with them bob and a fair bit off my riding is done 2 up to which works them harder. Plus at £250 fitted they are not a bad price either. Mine always turn blue after a few days and don't seemed to deteriate or crust either. Give them a bash and we can share notes at Peterborough ;)

Lol I was laughing when I was behind you! God knows how fast me and Greg were doing

Just fitted diablo rosso corsa's. wanted to try the meltzers but with autum fast approaching (sorry to mention it) i got it in my head, the tried and tested pirelli's were the best option.

Well an Indian summer would go well with our Muslim weather at the moment, occasionally Sunni but mainly Shi'ite.

I've been using the miches for a while now the pures wore out too quick the powers seem to be the best compromise for the miles I do in a year. Granted if you only do track days then grippier rubbers better, but for the fast roads the 2cts are great. They even work in Winter & when it Rains ;) ;) I may even try the pilot road 3 if they work on zx12's & busas they should work on the beema !

Last year they were £235 fitted to loose wheels, now its £285 to loose wheels. I need to find a cheaper tyre specialist. ;)

I get all mine from TK Copes, Colchester and normally do deals on tyres

Michelins 2CT are crap.

I agree, Pilot Power 2CT's are crap tyres.
They don't give much warning or feedback when your nearing the limit with them.
Bob
I had a pair of power 2ct's and they felt weird, no confidence and came off in the wet with no warning.
Did a 2k miles with two half day trackdays on the Metzelers. They are great no moments at all.
Had pirelli supercorsa SP on my old R1 and they really quickened the steering but not sure the S1000 needs it where the R1 was desperately needing quicker steering.
