I thought the s1 had 2 velocity stacks, longer at first then they snap up to reveal the short ones at high rpm? Or did I just imagine that?

If you?re that keen to ride at 30+ or you have too: soak your t shirt under a cold tap, put it on (truly horrible getting it on) then open any vents. It?s amazing how well that works!

I wouldn?t go for the M9, been there, twice, very disappointing never again. The M7 is better, but there are lots of even better options!

The throttle response is just great in race mode. I tend to lean on the excellent electronics on the gen3, I?m not brave or skilled enough to be in total control ??. With wheelie control though, things do get a lot livelier when opening the throttle steadily instead of going WOT immediately...

Is there any particular manufacturing month/year by which all the known issues should have been well sorted that your aware of? I trying to avoid a bike that already been through the dealer workshop repeatedly to sort issues out. As we all know, dealer service can be quite variable...

Well that was the starting point of my thinking!

I've been really happy with the 2018 Gen3, no issues at all. But IF I traded it in for a Gen4 to avoid the expensive big service and replacing lots of consumables, which of the Gen4's are to be avoided? I'd be looking for a low mileage replacement not new. There seems to have been so many issues...
