No bike track days at Silverstone in 2024

Ditto, it?s never really worked for me, doesn?t seem to flow very nicely and it?s too wide!

    BrenTuning Moto Velocity Stacks

    Nice thanks!

    BrenTuning Moto Velocity Stacks

Why not use a stepper motor then and ?trombone? the stacks along with the mapping/revs ??*??

    BrenTuning Moto Velocity Stacks

I thought the s1 had 2 velocity stacks, longer at first then they snap up to reveal the short ones at high rpm? Or did I just imagine that?

    'Extreme Heat' gear.

If you?re that keen to ride at 30+ or you have too: soak your t shirt under a cold tap, put it on (truly horrible getting it on) then open any vents. It?s amazing how well that works!

    M9rr tyre

The problem I?ve had with the M9 is the profile. It doesn?t steer naturally, demanding constant steering inputs. I prefer a V shape anyway, and the M9 is a U shape. The m7 is also a U shape, but with a more predictable shape. The M9 felt horrible on track, quite vague at lean. The m7 feels very...

    M9rr tyre

I wouldn?t go for the M9, been there, twice, very disappointing never again. The M7 is better, but there are lots of even better options!

How intrusive is anti-wheely in Race Mode?

The throttle response is just great in race mode. I tend to lean on the excellent electronics on the gen3, I?m not brave or skilled enough to be in total control ??. With wheelie control though, things do get a lot livelier when opening the throttle steadily instead of going WOT immediately...

    Offset rear wheel

Oh dear god, still after all this time? The veering is really annoying and they still can?t get that right! Ffs?Might as well stick with my 2018. Why? Just why?

    Gen3 to Gen4 - What to avoid!

Also good to know. Thanks, I really like the Gen3, the only thing that annoys me is the off centre COG that makes hands free riding a bit awkward.

    Gen3 to Gen4 - What to avoid!

Is there any particular manufacturing month/year by which all the known issues should have been well sorted that your aware of? I trying to avoid a bike that already been through the dealer workshop repeatedly to sort issues out. As we all know, dealer service can be quite variable...

    Gen3 to Gen4 - What to avoid!

Well that was the starting point of my thinking!

    Gen3 to Gen4 - What to avoid!

I've been really happy with the 2018 Gen3, no issues at all. But IF I traded it in for a Gen4 to avoid the expensive big service and replacing lots of consumables, which of the Gen4's are to be avoided? I'd be looking for a low mileage replacement not new. There seems to have been so many issues...

    Sat Nav

I?ve had a Tomtom for years, never been able to update it connect it or do much with it tbh. I didn?t expect much and it delivered!

    Gen 4 headers

It?s the other end of the country! Can?t see you being troubled by their incompetence ?

    Gen 4 headers

I know the dealer you?re working with. They tried the same nonsense with me when I warped a set of std discs at snetterton. It was with them for a month while we argued (politely) about fitness for purpose etc. They stuck to the line of track time = warranty void UNTIL I pointed them to their...

    Dave moss

I have to agree, I?ve seen loads of his videos and came away with the conclusion that he?s full of BS, but very good at promoting himself.
