    Tyre choices

Bridgestone for me. On my Gen 2 I put S21 front and S20 rear which worked really well. Currently have S20's on my Gen 3 which came as standard, will change to S21/S20 combination when they wear out. Don't be swayed by the latest rubber, often they are just sales gimmicks to get us on to the...

What hapenned to the underseat luggage straps?

TBH I wouldn't mind if I could order the loops and fit myself, but to just do away with them makes no sense, especially when the saddle can still accommodate them.

What hapenned to the underseat luggage straps?

Took delivery of my 2017 having traded in my 2012. When I tried to attached my Kriega luggage I noticed that two of the luggage loops are missing? my previous bike had 4 loops but now there's only two? Has anyone else noticed this? I asked the dealer about buying the two missing one's but...

    Changed from a Gen 2 to a Gen 3

Thanks pof. Not sure who does an aftermarket dash but next time you pass a Honda dealer pop in and check out the dash, looks awesome.

    Changed from a Gen 2 to a Gen 3

Thanks Oli, I am considering changing the exhaust but my biggest concern would be the noise for trackdays, particularly Castle Coombe which has a 105 db noise limit at 3/4 rev range. My Gen 2 passed but only in rain mode as the max revs is much lower. I'm going to borrow a noise meter once I...

    Changed from a Gen 2 to a Gen 3

Took delivery of my S1K two weeks ago so thought I would pen my thoughts if anyone is considering upgrading from a previous generation. Good points New bike is much more refined, smoother. Suspension - much better on rough roads. More comfortable than the old bike having done a 500 mile round...

    Spongy Front Brakes

The bike is on a Sorn as I currently only use it on the track, so difficult for me to get it to a dealer, hence trying to fix it myself. Curious to know why you would need a diagnostic tool to bleed the ABS pump? do you have a procedure for this?

    Spongy Front Brakes

Are the front and rear brake lines inside the ABS pump connected? ie would bleeding the rear brakes make any difference?

    Spongy Front Brakes

Hi All, Unfortunately this is a self inflicted injury! I replaced the brake fluid in the front lines but let the reservoir get too low and now I have some air in the system. I have bled each caliper several times, and also bled the valve on top of the handlebars several times. All in all I...

    Lamp Warning with Track Fairing

Hi All, I am just about to fit a track fairing to my 2012 S1K. Does anyone know how to disable the Lamp Warning signal? The warning comes up in place of the engine temperature, so would be useful to disable it. I've searched around but can't find any information on it. Thanks, Steve.

    Newbie Saying Hello

Hi All, Just wanted to say hi to your great forum. Bought my S1K last year (2012MY) and loving it so far. I have been following your forum for a while so now I have joined and will hopefully contribute. Now I want to prep it for the track so just ordered a track faring and a few other bits and...
