    Low beam not working.

My issue turned out to be a chaffed wire between the frame and air box, which meant the clocks lost power, so no lights clocks etc eventually, but it did show as no ECU on GS111. I don't think the LH switch gear does anything to the dip just main. bike does switch it off after initial switch on...

    Remove rear wheel gen 3

I have captive spacers which help and obviously bike is on paddock stand, agree pushing the pads apart helps, but only takes a couple of minutes to do it all, I sit behind and use my foot or a bar to lift the wheel up and then pop the spindle in, chain adjustment isn't changed from where it was

Piston Separator / Spreader on OEM Calipers

I normally do one caliper at a time, pump the pistons out slightly, clean with brake cleaner spray and tooth brush, then they all push back with finger pressure. not needed to open bleed valves, but can see it could help. maybe still dirty if they won't go back? pop in new pads, pump up then do...

    Engine sliders vs covers

I had the full RG covers on my Gen1 (by previous owner) but I've since changed the alternator and timing case to RG sliders, left the clutch on. I have had a number of stator failures, top coil burns out and wanted as much cooling to the bottom of the engine as possible, only done a year or so...

    rear calliper

4xv was first one then 5jj then fuel injected. it's now 25years old and will be doing a couple of vintage club runs this summer, before I part with it (thanks sadiq!). ive had since 2000 when it was just over a year old with 6000 miles on it. done over 60000 now, but not really used it since 2010.

    rear calliper

stick with it, great bike, had mine 9 years and love it. Funnily enough I'm just getting my old R1 (4xv) back on the road, it's been in the back of the garage since 2011 (when I got a GSXR) fuel system is horribly gummed up, still hoping to get it running today, will be interesting to see the...
