his fix carbon fiber protection sleeve for the front and rear. Those sensors do not like dust and the brake pads produce excessive dust.

Alex..yes and no...I'm looking to find out if any body has stripped Thiers down or gone for a replacement...there is no evidence of damage to unit or wiring..thanks

Bumped into a friend of mine in London motorcycle show this weekend,we by chance mentioned that both our front 2d sensors had packed up..symptoms are you can still adjust in the menu both rebound and compression values but it is not relayed back to the sensor itself. Has anybody had to replace...

You can fit a lowering link for the suspension if that's what you need try MCT suspension...

Anybody have information as to whether the fitment of this would invalidate bike warranty.

I use a ATOM motorcycle & car dryer , readily available from amazon , about £60.00 , well built and powerfull , and i dont let the girlfriend into the house again untill she gets it totally dry.

just to recap , ensure bike is unladed & correct tyre pressures for what you need,ie:track or road , ensure engine is running, then set preload as per the new manual instructions , have a friend or girlfirend on hand to help with measuring. Once done bike preload base setting is done for you ...

Chaps , just to reiterate the original 2013 version of the HP04 manual on pages 50 & 51 have been corrected by bmw and should now be... front wheel.. 5 - 10 mm with rider @ 85kg , rear wheel .. 8 - 12 mm with rider @ 85kg.

dear HP44...I'm no expert but these basic settings should be done on all bikes , that's why they are in the manual. Once the base settings are done for you the elcetroinics will sort the rest out for a better ride.. BMW will correct the settings printed in updated manuals for the HP , the one's...

years ago mates tried hanging em on with string , so when you go thro the speed camera at speed the plate is in horizontal state.... mind you when got found out at a stop ,yep still got fine.

hp4 and s1000rr are the same seat , have replaced my original seat cover with the hp4 custom seat design cover from canada , the hp4 emblem is stitched on and looks very nice , fabric is leather and suede , check out any coach trimmers in your area they should do this easily for you.

soofsayer , dunno if u tried this but mate of mine had same problem , he was told to try chewing gum , something to do with motion of jaw on inner ear ... worked for him.... good luck.
