The benifit is BMW squeezing all they can out of the engine to make up that x amount of seconds faster round track (can't remember what the original quote was).

For sure if it was a 600 you would be sitting 9-12k rpm just to stay in the power band, but at around 6-8k rpm in first gear you are likely hitting 80 -100mph. To hit 9k on a road and get benefit from a shift cam on a litre bike you are doing well to hang on to your licence.

To be fair I think this is the most honest review so far, its the first I have read that has tipped its hat to the customers that have been left in the balance pondering on when the investment they have made will arrive. There is no superbike in production that will impress on the road while...

That was my original scenario, everyone was getting calls and messages from dealers an I had to chase mine even then to get a straight answer after reading about it on an open source forum first was the thing that annoyed me most... after being given 3 completely different delivery dates one...

Do you want a bike in 2019 on a 19 plate that will do very little miles due to the winter weather or a bike on a 2020 plate? Personally If I had the luxury to wait I probably would have and delayed the order to 2020, one to get the registration for next year and two by then any Teething...
