nope the rr was traded in for a Ducati which will be traded in for the R.

Just a thought, try out the s1000r, it's a totally different riding experience and it's a very confidence inspiring ride. With it being another BM you may (and I mean may) get a reasonable px price.

I took one out on Sunday and it's a peach of a bike, I just clicked with it straight away. Handling up to 120mph felt better than my rr (dynamic pro selected for the whole ride), no top end rush like the rr just shite loads of grunt up to about 11k. Loved it. Deposit is down on a sport expected...

Once the cat is removed the fuel air burn is altered. Definitely go for a dyno run at least you will know whether you are running lean/rich. If required then fit a pc or similar. From experience it's worth every penny.

Be careful, have a look on youtube as there are some very interesting vids. One guy pitches up on an S1K with full system and filter mods, it made basically stock power, the guy switched out the mods for the OEM kit and it made 5bhp more! I will have a look and see if I can find the link.

The blade hasnt really changed since 2008 (apart from BP forks) but it is still a very competent road bike. If you are after a beast that in the right hands owns both road and track then the S1K is the daddy. Yes there are quality issues (but my blade had those in spades, rust, heavy oil use...

I am currently in Germany on tour and I can confirm that on the autobahn MIT luggage the s1k does a min of 178mph (GPS speed) and it was on a slight uphill !
