    Rear wheel out of true

My 2023 rear wheel was 110 grams out of ballence with no tire fitted from brand new!

    Brembo Stylemmas

I fitted stylemas to my 2023. More for looks than anything else. Deirect fit once you remove the bosses from the forks. To be honest the standard nissins are good, they have castlated pistons as standard! Just look poop

    Throttle response

The 2025 has a revised throttle so i recon this has been addressed. We will soon know

    2025 S1000RR

I love the look of this thing, the throttle is a welcome addition in my opinion. I wonder if the mapping has changed too as I hated the weak bottom end power

    S1000rr torque figures

Just noticed this old post of mine. Alot has changed since I wrote this. I ended up buying a brand new 2023 s1000rr. Probably should have listened to my gut feelings as it wasn't the bike for me. So very good in so many ways yet it was gutless up to 4k revs. Really gutless! Theres just not...

    Thinking of buying a 2023

At the end of the day what happens if you do an emergency stop or do a stoppie? If it travells to near the bottom of the stroke then its not far wrong. If its only going half way then somethings not right. If on the other hand you are using it for gentle touring then i wouldnt expect it to...

    Thinking of buying a 2023

The faster you go the more you need to brake. You cant simply carry 50mph extra round a bend than everyone else so you got to scrub that speed off. My dad barely brakes on the road, he just rides smooth and steady. Im very different, but when I ride sensibly in rain mode there is no real issue...

    Thinking of buying a 2023

Depends on how much you weigh and how hard you ride. I ride fairly hard so brake quite strongly. Plus im not 100% but even if your in rain mode isnt there an assist menu for the dds? Think there is on my 23

    S1000RR 2023 Sag adjustments help

Oh yeah, i read it as he wasnt sure how to do it. I use a cable tie and use the side stand to do it myself

    S1000RR 2023 Sag adjustments help

    turning in

Drop the front forks through the yokes about 10mm. It reduces the trail. You will need a couple more clicks on the steering damper to compensate. Its what i will do if i keep my bike

    Thinking of buying a 2023

Im 96kg without kit. Under hard braking im bottoming out. If i put it in pro mode I can stop it bottoming out but its not absorbing any bumps.

Its definately under sprung in the front. Unless you are light weight you need to uprate the springs. For me im having to control travel by winding up the damping and its rock hard. But the bike doesnt have that vague front end feeling like all older models so its still a better bike in general

    The Gen4 DDC thread...vol 1

Does anyone know the spring rate for the 2023? Are both sides still different rates like gen 3?

    Thinking of buying a 2023

I will have to make another video in time because I believe the suspension isnt as bad as I fitst thought, it seems i need to learn more about it and try and find out 100% if the ddc does get fiexed in pro modes, if it does this is fantastic as i can set it up exactly for me and then just switch...

Cant you set up a pro mode to be the same as the road mode so you can adjust the suspension?

Only one leg has the damping leg in it. The other is preload adjuster only

    Thinking of buying a 2023

I usually do my own suspension, ive done about 10 sets of forks in the last year. But the ddc is different, its not your basic damped setup. I cant see how to fix the standard setup without complete setup of the shim stacks.

    Thinking of buying a 2023

I see why could think that. I get annoyed about all the reviews online saying how great the s1000rr is a im convinced a few are sponsored by bmw! They are great bikes, the reason i bought one was because they are great bikes. But no bike is perfect. And I feel like an honest review is whats...
