Hey Gobert, the lake looks very still there. Usually a bit of wind about but that looks flat calm. The second pic, is that up on the Evo Triangle road?? Stuart

Yeah some good tarmac round there absolutely. Our usual route is Warrington to Bala, via Mold and Ruthin, quick stop and coffee at Bala. On to Barmouth for a feed and cheeky shandy, back over the hills via Blanau Festiniog into Betws Y Coed another coffee stop then home. Around 230 miles...

    S1KR Review ? Dropping an R

Totally get the feeling of being more in control. My ownership of the S1000RR was very short indeed. I now have a Street Triple RS, and feel the same, way more in control. Don't know why as I suppose the S1000RR had more tech bits on it, but I always felt on the edge, nervous, even frightened...

    Best Gen3 end can ??

I have the same can and love it. Incidentally if you get some Autosol and 0000 grade wire wool you can get a good polish on these, and the cat as well, see here, this is after a few runs out as well https://s1000rrforum.co.uk/showthread.php?13133-New-Can Stuart

    Helibar Help Required

I need to try first Oli. I don't want to put any more money in or on the bike if it still isn't going to work for me. I get the idea of Helibars, but they will be different for each person I guess. If I cant get comfy, one way or another the bike will have to go. Stuart

    Helibar Help Required

Yeah they look good, cheers for the heads up pal. TBH I need to sit on a bike with them on before I take the plunge as I will sell the bike if I don't like em. I cant cope with the riding position as is, and as much as I love the bike overall, it isn't comfy for me. If you get them let me...

    Helibar Help Required

Hi Guys, I am looking at buying a set of Helbars as a last resort to see if I can get 'comfy' on my bike. However, if they don't work for me i'll need to sell or p/ex for a sit up. Is there anyone in the NW with a set that I could come and just sit on your bike to see how they feel. I actually...

    Another north wales trip...

Myself and my ride buddy went to Barmouth again yesterday, via Bala. Left Warrington mid morning, roads were damp (ish) and I hate the wet. We took it easy going but as the roads dried we sped up a tad. Bala was pretty dead compared to summer, as was Barmouth, but the chippy was still as good...

I have the same (bestest!!) colour scheme as well, love it. And a short carbon can, deffo looks way better than the standard kerbstone sized jobbie. A nice smoked screen really set this colour off as well. Can I ask which tail tidy that is, and I'm assuming its using the standard indicators...
