My friends has sold his bike and palmed aload of oils on to me, one of which is a brand new 4ltr bottle of Castrol Power 1 Racing 10w 40. I know the manual recommends 5w40 but would this be OK? Thanks.

It's not the most pleasant thing to ride at the moment with this fault hiding.

Standard throttle. I have put some Oxford heated grips on. did had to sand the thickness of the tube under the rubber grip to get the heated grip over.

Is that a quick shifter?

It's had a full bmw service every year since its been registered. It was a bmw garage I rung and the service bloke didn't even think to do that check when I couldnt answer some of his questions.

The roads are OK towards the wolds but other than that straight and boring. Plus this time of your just covered in mud.
