    44Teeth announces long termer....

Yeah, but can you imagine BMW bringing out a 600/750 with a turbo, based on their knowledge in the car section, put me down for one!(I'll still keep what I've got though).

M Sport Track set up ?

You may be able to get one through your dealer-they got mine for my Gen3. Or possibly,2D direct.

    Front wheel spin

Does the bike have an aftermarket brake lever? Some levers use a different pushrod to OE.If OE pushrod is used with some aftermarket levers,it can cause the brakes to bind. Try removing the pinch bolt from the lever to see if the wheel spins freely.

    Cracked wheels

Whilst I too accept BMW have made a complete arse of the Gen4,having ridden most of the RR,s competitors it is still,in my opinion, the best bike out there and, compared to the others, good value for money. As for your comments "beloved BMW","you're another one on here"(you know nothing about...

    Cracked wheels

Without looking through your previous posts,I don't remember you having a good word to say about BMW or any of the dealers.I'm surprised you've still got the bike and not gone back to Ducati-after all, they never have problems,do they!

    Cracked wheels

If that were the case,I would insist they supplied an independent analysis report and,as it's cosmetic, presumably all paintwork is not covered either! Cosmetic cracks are still not acceptable on a top of the range motorcycle.

    Cracked wheels

So what are they supposed to do,recall and replace parts regardless of whether those bikes have faults or not? As far as I am aware, not all bikes have wheel, forks, paint, caliper problems etc. Surely, the logical way is for individual bikes with a problem to have faults rectified by the dealer,as...

Anyone got BT for watching racing?

Yeah,Eurosport are being awkward, though it still comes with the basic sky package. Not all bad though,I've just signed back up with sky with a total new install and everything I want and saved ?30 per month!

Anyone got BT for watching racing?

As it happens,I was looking to change from Sky to BT. I have just had it confirmed from BT that Eurosport is no longer available in their new packages. Basically,if you have it on your old contract now,do not take out a new one with them, you should then be able to keep it!

Spain tracks are closed due to COVID

Has that now been confirmed by Spanish government?

    Secondary Air System removal

Probably the best option. If you manage to get it off without damage, you won't be able to re-use it without the special tool as it needs to over-centre to click into place.

    The Gen4 DDC thread...vol 1

In normal modes the system is controlled by the electronics. Gen3 DDC was all electronic. As I understand it,Gen4 ddc in RacePro modes uses the base electronic settings of the various modes(Rain,Road etc) then any further adjustments are mechanical.

    Secondary Air System removal

See if you can borrow the special tool from your dealer. You'll also need it to re-use the clip.

    The Gen4 DDC thread...vol 1

Something makes me think it's actually 80/20. RacePro modes are 80% mechanical whilst retaining 20% electronic control.

    Throttle drill hole thread

That sounds most likely,I don't see any reason why RS2E would need to cut the tag off.

    Brands GP 2nd June

I thought Snetterton would cause problems for the start of trackdays.Brands GP will kill them off totally! Imagine all those furloughed self-isolators who live around the GP layout.Nothing better to do than complain to the council/police etc. I can see it now, photos online and in the national...

    Throttle drill hole thread

I believe the screw outside diameter(not thread size) is 3.8mm and screws directly into an extension on throttle housing.Nothing on the clip-on is threaded, and never has been. This is where the problem comes in when fitting Alpha q/a throttles-there is no provision for locating OE switch gear.
