    Intercoms

Been using the Sena 20s for a year or so now, been really good up to speeds you wouldn't dare travel on a uk road at :wink-new:

    BMW Tail pack 2014-2018

Genuine BMW tail pack, used once for a five day French trip, performed flawlessly but my body only allows short trips on the rr so now use a XR to carry luggage :smile-new: and the rr is designated a sunny day toy. Cost me ?230 from BMW, looking for ?140 posted. Link showing bag and spec...

    Cat temperature

Tried a whole myriad of super high temp paints when I decatted my R1, every single one of them failed after a short time, would think you would need some sort of ceramic coating if you want it to last.

    Akrapovic Exhaust - what's needed?

Fitted the full system to my bike earlier this year, you can unplug the servos but the ignition must be off and stay off until you reconnect them. I sealed the cases up with a bit of silicon after I removed the cables, this should stop any moisture getting in. The rear servo was a bit of a bitch...

    Engine light on

Yeah no sweat mate, really not an issue and you nailed it with the warning light, insider info helps every time. Well I know the chart said 208bhp at the back wheel, but I tried it over a set distance where a known speed was achieved. Std bike with std exhaust and no remap was 168mph With...

It seems we don't talk about it on here when you go to the den of witchcraft and iniquity based up north of me :redface-new:

    Engine light on

Shhh with ya big mouth :untroubled: Don't know what you mean about a dyno run, but it could be the ASC light that I was confusing for the engine warning light. Just need to rtfm to see how to turn it off. Thanks for all your suggestions gents and apologies if I led you down the wrong path...

    Engine light on

Will give that a try tomorrow once ive checked all the connections. it appears I need a GS911 to connect to the bike, just need to nail down which model I need. Getting more and more expensive this exhaust. :)

    Engine light on

No, made sure everything was connected before I turned it on.

    Engine light on

I will check it all over again but indicators work fine and I know the lambda sensors are good. I thought I may have turned the servo slightly when I removed the cables, servo cables all removed and servos plugged back in. Thought this would stop any errors.

    Engine light on

Hi Fitted a full Akro system to the bike and now have the engine light on. Thought I had managed to remove cables etc from the servos without moving the feckin things. Is there anyone in the Essex, Suffolk, Cambridge area that has a plug in jobbie to read and clear the fault code? Malc

    Hi

Yeah good to meet you both too, funny you coming from Sheffield as thats my home town many many years ago. Also got out for an hour when I got home. The bike is so quick now and picks up the front wheel in all gears, just gotta be a bit more precise with the throttle hand. All in all very happy...

    Hi

Hi all Been around for a little while now just gleaning info on my bike, don't have loads of time for computing so will never become a prolific poster. Met two guys today that are members here, despite chatting for a while, never asked their forum names and be buggered if I could remember mine...
