Took my bike to SBW last Thursday, They said the movement on the sprocket was within BMW tolerence levels. The side stand bolts were replaced and all is ok.

Beamish I'm so glad you posted this. Having washed my bike today I noticed some movement in the sprocket similar to what you described. Their is at least 2/3 mm play both forward/backwards and sideways. I rang SBW straight away and its booked in to get it sorted. I'll let you know the outcome...

Dont forget datatag, I believe it comes standard. It may make a difference to your insurance. BMW will issue a datatag certificate which you will need to pass on to your insurnace company. I pick mine up this saturday as well. I had to phone my insurance company and tell them the alarm and...

When I took the 2012 bike for a test ride the dealer told me the temperature can get quite high and not to worry if it hits 110..... Seems they run high on warm days.

I think my mind is made up, The Austin Racing ARCS with a GP end can looks and sounds great. Just need to run the bike in first before putting it on.

Cheers mate, they do look good and the power increase seems better than most. Do I need to wait till the bike is run in or can I stick it on straight away?
