I fitted complete 2016 fairings to my 2017 without any problems except of course for the belly pan pieces. For a belly pan I used the Illemberger full carbon fiber belly pan that again mounted without modification to the 2016 side panels. I hope that helps.

Has anybody fitted the Jetprime handlebar switches? If so, is it as simple as claimed? I do not want to have to cut any wires or modify the harness in anyway. My bike is track only so no lights, indicators etc...

I wonder what the M package comprises of to give the weight reduction?

That's why I think there will be pre-configured bikes. It also creates upselling opportuities. viz: Sir wants the HP Pro race package? That only comes with the carbon wheels. Again, standard practice in the M car world.

I wonder if, as in the BMW car world, there will be different models with various M options or if you will pick what you want to add to the basic model?

Looks like the same forks. No upgrade to the latest electronic Ohlins - on this model spec at least.
