    Picked my S1000RR up yesterday

It's why one of the recommended mods on the <2012 is a different rear sprocket.

    Hotbodies rear under tail

How does it get by the MOT with no plate light?

left in the shit by a seller.

He says Crescent service it, can they give you details if you tell a little white lie "I've paid a deposit and now he's gone missing.." It's got to be well known to them if he's telling the truth

    Hi

Hey hey, welcome. There's a good bunch of chaps on here with a world of knowledge, so if there is anything you need to know, this is the place.

It's got loads of torque quite sensibly placed which means your not constantly working the engine, also handles like a dream with the S1000rr front which also means the ohlins and brembo from mine will bolt straight on so that the depreciation loss I'll suffer will be a little easier to take...

So... I've seen, tried and loved the... RnineT. What a great bike, tried the GS, plenty capable but at 36, I didn't feel old enough for that. I'm just doing the for sale advert for the S1000rr, and then I'm good to go.

The Zeds are fairly cheap at the moment (relatively speaking)

So the GS is on the list, VFR, possibly ZZR (maybe a bit too big) On of the things is that I'd like a bench seat so I can take the young lad out on.

Bit rude to join to sell though? Got to maintain a bit of forum decorum

Tried a vfr1200 today. Not bad, but he couldn't value mine as a part ex with all the toys on it.

Going to have a go on a gs adventure.

Still not decided. I'm going to go and test ride a few machines at the weekend and see how we get on, but it's still on the cards.

Nope, no issues at all - I fact as DJUK said, they were using the noise to give me pointers on throttle control etc. Really worth the ?35!

So I've taken the advice and booked a bikesafe day for tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get some confidence from the day, if not, look out for a 'for sale' advert coming this way soon

Very fair points of view which certainly put things into perspective. Although I did notice a nice ducati streetfighter s turn up on the internet this week.

    R&G rear sets, any good?

Just flicking through the daemon tweaks book, and wondered what people's thoughts on these were? DD

    Strange insurance clause?

I work in insurance (don't hate me) and that is now a standard clause in almost all insurance policies. I remember that was starting to be introduced in the 90's.

Reminder - who had their carbon full length Akra shortened, please ?

funny isn't it, I actually prefer the long can to my short one (a little while back I asked about for a swap)
