    Chain and sprockets

How many miles has your bike done Ross? One hour to change a chain and sprocket on an S1000RR is fair. 15-20 mins is rushing.

    Thinking of going racing

I'm not saying do trackdays instead of racing i said do regular trackdays to start. If your not thinking of racing till 2015 that gives you a whole year to get your bike/kit sorted, get to know the tracks and get fast. It will be safer and you will be a better rider come 2015.

    Thinking of going racing

Why not do regular trackdays to start?

Possible new owner, info needed please guys

Yes you can disable the anti wheelie via a switch while riding and the traction control is not as bad as you might have heard, and i've notice no restriction in the first 3 gears?

hi all new owner here advice please

Not really any of my business but wouldnt it make sense to buy a cheap winter hack like a CB500 if you have to ride a bike every day?

hi all new owner here advice please

    What with mismatched tyres? :p
  12. andybarsblade

    Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa Tyres

I'll see your Dunlop 211's and raise you Bridgestone R10's never mind the wet in the dry they are useless unless up to track temps. I had to pop to Halfords on my bike the other day to get a tool for my car it was all over the place!

    Dyno remap at Hilltop

I can back this up, I know a mechanic that works for the build base team and he's also told me the bikes have been done at melted sliders.

    Dyno remap at Hilltop

The only way to be sure would be to then take the bike to an independent dyno before and after to confirm the numbers.

    S1000rr two stroke?

    You do wheelies?

    What a *******!!

This is what happened to the nice man that decided to aim his land rover at me and my girlfriend on my bike.

    Top speed

No sorry its nothing to do with the riders weight or the bikes actual speed. What i'm trying to say is that even if you put a 300bhp turbo on my bike and geared it to 250mph the speedo will not show past 186mph (i'm not saying this is the case for all the S1000RR) but if anyone can find any...
  18. andybarsblade

    Top speed

**** knows Dave? I still haven't seen over 186 either on my bike or on any S1000RR videos

    Extended Warranty

I've just took mine out, iirc its about £450 for the year.
  20. andybarsblade

    Been thinking of changing bikes.

If its the same as the 1199 it will be fine, the Ducati is massive compared to the Aprilia!
