It is interesting though, that track focused Ring weapon cars like the Porsche GT3 RS, GT2 RS and AMG GT-R don't come with carbon wheels. There must be some thinking of reliability and longevity in there by Porsche and Mercedes respectively.
Interesting, but looking at BMW configurator just now Carbon Wheels are still part of the M Sport package, perhaps this will change in the future then if you're right.
I've had connection dropping issues too in the past, but since re-synching the phone with the bike after RIS it has been better. However, the Speed Limit Display has a mind of its own and often shows the 3 dots instead of the speed, then randomly whilst riding it displays speed again. Not sure...
I concur, same as a comment I made on another thread, during our forum meet last Sunday, amongst hundreds of bikes we saw around Derbyshire, particularly in Matlock, I didn't see a single Gen 4 S1000RR apart from the 7 of ours that day.

Whatever happens, I still think it'll make good high octane viewing even on TV, so personally I say good on them. Seem like co-ordinators have managed to secure a 10 year deal with the local council, so they mean business.
