I'm not into too loud exhausts personally, on both cars and bikes. As long as it sounds purposeful with some character then that's good for me. I've recently put an Akra Carbon end can on mine and it made a slight difference which is perfect for me.

Yogi, it seems the dealers did a bit of a 'Boo Boo' in not removing the limiter when they should have! Get them to remove it pronto and you'll feel like you've just bought a new bike :D

Isn't the new XR built on the same platform as the Gen 4 RR, if so you may experience similar issues to the RR and so IMO the GSA might be the better option for you?

That's not correct Oli, the brake discs are same larger ones on the M Performance and Sport with Performance Pack (M Forged wheels). It's the regular sport with the cast wheels that have the smaller discs.

Does anyone have the technical specs of the weight differences between the M Forged and M Carbon wheels? I've seen a video of 650ib's where they weighed a pair of M forged wheels vs a pair of BST carbon fibre wheels and the M forged were lighter, albeit not by much.

Very sorry to hear this but equally glad to hear that you yourself are relatively ok as it could have been a lot worse. Hope you make a speedy recovery and get back on a new bike soon. That gravel looks really bad and something needs to be done about that, especially if others have complained...

It does, in fact the whole BMW bike range with the new TFT smashes the competition in that dept, have heard many bike reviewers say that BMW have the best TFT screens.

Depends on if you're running 95 RON. The minimum recommended is 98 RON for these bikes, I always use Shell V-Power or equivalent.

Thanks for the info BBB, as I've experienced with BMW cars, US are normally the first to issue the recalls with the manufacturer, then a couple of months down the line UK/Rest of Europe follows suit.
