New 2019 BMW S1000RR: Rumour, Gossip and Intrigue...

He mentioned in the video they have moved the engine to the left by 5mm to offset the 'pulling to the right' so many people experience (myself included). First time I've seen/heard anything acknowledging this phenomenon...

I like how the mirrors are inside the housing, so when you fold them in to filter you don?t stuff up your mirror arrangement.

Looks like we've lost the rear brake light 'wedge' / 'icicle'...integrated into the indicators I'm guessing from what I can see...:-( Not a fan https://imgur.com/a/QjZ6T4c

New 2019 BMW S1000RR: Rumour, Gossip and Intrigue...

Looks like they have ditched the Brembo's up front? Also, what does the rear brake light/indicators arrangement look like...the official PDF mentioned something about an integrated arrangement...

New 2019 BMW S1000RR: Rumour, Gossip and Intrigue...

The level to which BMW can mass produce carbon fibre, I reckon there?s got to be some on the new bike somewhere. So that video to me confirms they?re abandoning the asymmetrical head lights? Bummer. I really like that about the RR?s being different to all the rest, but I guess LED lighting is...

New 2019 BMW S1000RR: Rumour, Gossip and Intrigue...

Not sure if it?s been mentioned already, but I heard from someone within BMW that apparently the new gen 4 2019 will have a carbon fibre swing arm, possibly in the same style of the Suter on the HP4 Race.

Glad you and that Roy Bloke are ok. Now, that witches hat from your first outing has got to be the biggest bloody witches hat I?ve ever seen!

    Whats going on??

FWIW maybe check the tread as my Q3?s have developed a weird wear characteristic with the sipes were one side is higher/lower than the other. I run 33/34psi front depending on ambient temps, not sure if that has caused my issue though but worth a look on your tyres.

    Whats going on??

Have you always run 31psi in the front? Seems a little low for road use and softer tyres might squirm and fold under load if not hot hot hot ?

    Dry Chain Lube

I have tried only one dry lube, Bel Ray, but found it a PITA to apply and especially clean off the chain when it got grotty. But sounds like this one is a goer. I?ll try that idle in 2nd gear approach too as it won?t get flung everywhere being dry and all :) Anything to make chain maintainence...

    Dry Chain Lube

Easy to clean off chain when needed? Does it go on white or ? Just had a look and apparently I can get them for ~$11 AUD (?6)...sounds too good to be true but worth a shot for those monies

    Bump start

Let us know how you go and what the issue is. Currently having a similar issue with my 2016 and they still can?t find the (seemingly intermittent) fault after 2 weeks at the dealers. FFS.

10A fuse keeps blowing (blank dash)

Yeah that does sound like the most likely cause. Was hoping there was maybe a known or ?becoming more common? fault with the dash itself or something like that, something which is more easily found/identified as locating a short sounds like a time consuming process...

10A fuse keeps blowing (blank dash)

Oh and the new battery is the OEM Yuasa YTZ7S, fwiw

10A fuse keeps blowing (blank dash)

They disconnect the fender eliminator number plate light and blamed that, but a fuse has popped since then (which is why it?s going back). It does have the plug for an Oxford battery tender, but the fuse issue predates that as I had to replace the battery as it started going flat for no reason...
