    Hello from Croatia

Hey Mario welcome onboard. In regards to the water in the oil, if it?s only happened once and you?ve had the bike a fair while, could someone have messed with your bike on a recent trip or even at home late at night or something like that? Otherwise yes like you said they?d be water always in...

    Easy to change

Good catch before it totally frayed/snapped :)

Hi Flo oil filter number ?

Just some food for thought, while under warranty I?d be using OEM filters and the like in case of any engines issues that may pop up...if using after market filters BMW may have grounds to deny any claim? Or at least make it much harder to get a claim approved or costs fully covered by them

    Rear suspension creaking noise

My Gen3?s seat makes a sound you could be describing. Now you?ve got some k?s on the bike maybe things have settled in and rubbing a bit? Just putting that out there as a possibility...

    Leaking forks

FWIW my gen3 did this consistently until about ~1500-2000km them generally stopped. The ring of grease only comes back on super hot days. If it?s more fluid like and actually running down, that?s a different story.

    Lithium battery issues - solved

Re: Lithium Battery failures? Just to throw another option into the ring; check the fuses to see if they?re ok/burnt/etc as perhaps there?s a chaffed wire/loom. Had sth similar on my ?16.

    Gen 3 quickshifter issues

To slightly build on these great points, also check the metal tabs on the clutch switch when you?re looking at the slack, coz if they?re bent they?ll trigger differently. Have you changed the clutch lever recently by chance?

    Changing Ohlins NIX30 Springs

I’m guessing changing springs in the DDC forks would be a very similar process?

    2015 S1000rr - Right Turn Assist Pro!

The gen4 has had it’s engine moved ~5mm to the left to apparently fix this...there’s goes another feature!

LED sidelights fitted and happy new year

cre0108, now that it's been a few months, how are the replacement lights holding up? Any issues with the replacement halogens melting the housing(s)?

Help with dash fault/ abs/ TC lights on and loss of speedo reading intermittently

My '16 had the same/similar symptoms - blowing the 30A fuse and loosing whole dash and lights. Turned out to also be a chaffed/squashed loom, but mine was under/next to the fuel tank mount apparently. BMW dealer techs said it seems it happened at factory/assembly as the tank mount appeared to...

Workshop Ramp - Stuartb's Winter Wonderland

I would have thought the high-beam (left?) would have been hotter than the low-beam... or at the least a similar temp. Even so, less than 50 degrees C shouldn?t cause lens to raze should it? Lens too thin maybe?

Workshop Ramp - Stuartb's Winter Wonderland

Looking good. Wishing I had a work area like yours...and a HP4! On second look-through, is your front wheel slightly buckled in one spot on the lip? --> https://imgur.com/a/iNEWOVz

Workshop Ramp - Stuartb's Winter Wonderland

Can I ask why you're replacing all the fairings? And are they BMW parts or after-market? Either way looking good and interesting read, cheers

New 2019 BMW S1000RR: Rumour, Gossip and Intrigue...

Yeah same as I saw. Maybe the new system doesn't need it but seems odd for such a premium bike they still haven't separated the two from factory now they have re-done the whole system and with a new partner. Especially now as we apparently will have some option about disabling DDC and using the...

New 2019 BMW S1000RR: Rumour, Gossip and Intrigue...

It would have been nice to be able to have full rebound/compression control in the forks from factory, but hopefully the new system is better than the current. I'd also like to know what the factory spring rates are and how this shim stack system works, especially if it helps the little fellas...
