    Hi from Bedford (ish)

Yes the pesky thing, i didn't get many votes, went for a ride with some mates on the way there and tipped up about 10 minutes before they announced the result with the bike heavily decorated with flys!

    Constand frame lift

Just ordered a constand frame lift to make fiddling with the bike a bit easier, has any body got any experience with them. I've got sick of tying the bike to the garage roof every time I want to make an adjustment to the suspension

    Hi from Bedford (ish)

Welcome, where abouts in Bedford are you? I'm sure we'll have to arrange a meet when the sun comes back out next year, braved the weather on Sunday but it is starting to get a bit chilli! Do you go to any clubs? I go down Oakley bike club on a Thursday from time to time, it's a bit quieter in...

    Hi from Bedford

Love the roads out that way, best to watch out for the unmarked bikes though, a mates dad (born again biker) got into a race with an unmarked police bike down there, luckily never tipped the 100 due to traffic, the best bit was my mate clocked something suspicious so let it go whilst his old man...

Rear suspension linkage bearings and inserts - WARNING

Mine wasn't noisy but neither did i notice it last time i had the shock out, it was when i lifted the detached linkage to reconnect it i noticed the notchyness of it all so stripped it out. Not impressed with the quality of the inserts.

Rear suspension linkage bearings and inserts - WARNING

Word of warning on the rear suspension pivots and linkage Noticed the other day when changing the rear spring that the rear swingarm linkage was very notchy when moving it, decided to take it off and remove the inserts to have a look and found the bearings had started to cut into the inserts...

Austin Racing GP2R, rapidbike race and quickshifter

I got the V3 end can for the GP2 system rather than the GP3, prefer to see something up the side of the bikes Got a couple of image captures of the popping back last night

Austin Racing GP2R, rapidbike race and quickshifter

It's not as loud as it looks but it's loud enough. I also picked up a v3 titanium can which sounded a bit softer but I won't get a chance to road test till the weekend, couldn't decide on which can so had both. The rear sets are attack performance, you can change the shift pattern to race on...

Austin Racing GP2R, rapidbike race and quickshifter

If you run the rapid bike evo you get 8 injectors, auto tune and quick shifter control (need the sensor at £250) for little more than a power commander. I have the race module (620) which gives you ignition and engine braking too, half was an experiment to see what could be gained and half was...

Austin Racing GP2R, rapidbike race and quickshifter

Took the bike down to the guys at Austin Racing yesterday, had a full GP2R system fitted, rapidbike race module and quickshifter. The system looks and sounds great, louder all through the revs but not unbearable at high rpm, people will hear you coming now! The engine feels pokier throughout...

    Hi from Bedford

Hi, been on the American forum for a while but thought i'd better stop lurking on here and say hello as i'm from the UK. Picked up my 2011 light grey metalic last May as a 30th present to myself, it's not quite standard anymore, might post some pics when my Austin Racing system goes on next...
