Oh for goodness sake - why ABS?

As soon as you activate a master cylinder the feed hole from the reservoir is shut so cable tying the lever on wont have any effect. Did you get the lines in the same position as stock, any upwards bends that were not there before would make it difficult. The tip on greasing the bleed nipples...

    Damping setting recommendations for road.

Get the front and rear resprung for your weight, makes a big difference, the stock springs will be a bit firm for your weight.

    Lights on Track Day

Get some mirror blanks and take an Allen key to switch them in the day, it's also best to unplug the brake light under the rear seat so people don't use it as a brake market

    Off road school

I've just come back from the Yamaha off road school in Wales that we've just done for the second year running. If anybody hasn't done this before I'd really recommend it, it's a great eye opener to having a bike shift about underneath you and what you can do on a loose surface. The bikes are...

    Traction Control / ABS Debate

It regulates the difference in speed between the front and rear wheels. The extremes being rain and slick. In rain mode it expects there to be reduced friction between road and tyre so will not allow the rear to spin much quicker than the front to prevent high sides. It also cuts in at much...

So what happened with the ECU flash ??

That'd be why he didn't reply to my message. I phoned hilltop and asked what they do, said I am technically minded so wanted some detail but he was to vauge and brief for my liking. Didn't inspire enough confidence for me. Said he'd done about a hundred bikes which I know isn't many yet I've...

    Ready for the weekend

Came up nice. I jet wash mine with a little karcher from a distance with no problems. Couldn't use the work one though, it runs on three phase and would probably knock it off its stand!

    Quick action throttle

Bikes suddenly misfiring and sounds rough.

I had a problem where after some work I left the plug to the servo on the velocity stacks loose and it lost connection giving similar symptoms

About time I shared some pics with you all

Cheers for the comments guy Not putting it on track is killing me, it may see some action this year but I used to have a dedicated track bike, sometimes my ambition out ways my talent and I can get red mist, I've seen a lot of accidents and write offs when I used to do track days. I fitted...
