A little experiment... Highest miles with the least amount of issues??

2011 60000 miles, left hand switch gear failing and on order, rear suspension linkage premature wear on needle roller inserts, the bearings are cutting into the inserts, will do over the winter, chain is just s**t build quality and is due to be replaced shortly, is a bugger to get into neutral...

I remember mine too, that was an expensive day out, trouble is when I get excited I have the self control of a fat chick in a cake shop, walked back in the shop with my card out!

Ohlins shock springs... What are the numbers?

I weight 78 kg and have 9.5 in the front and a 8.5 in the rear, feels really good on the road and pretty solid on track although I'm not the quickest in track.

    Recommendations on race schools?

I did Ron haslem last year, I think it's 280 now, it was fun despite the heavy rain but I'd say it was more an introduction to track riding on someone else's bike, I didn't learn anything that day, did CSS this year which was excellent and gave me some really good tips and corrected me on a...

one armed guy in the fast group

We have a bloke at work who rides with a left hand throttle and thumb brake after loosing his right arm in a motorbike accident. Still fast too!

    Recommendations on race schools?

There's no pressure to go fast at CSS. You're encouraged to take things at your own pace, in the sessions your instructor joins you, gives you tips then peals off again to observe. I had the same apprehension.

    Recommendations on race schools?

I just done level one CSS at silverstone. Almost everybody used their own bike, great day, going to try and squeeze in level 2 this year, expensive but worth it, you think a lot harder when it's your own bike

Had the price now, more than happy with it but did get mates rates, if anybody else wanted a price they'd best phone Dave Wood and ask him Here's a pic of the dyno sheet

    Going for 200whp

Scarily I don't know yet. I haven't had the bill, it only started as a valve service.

    Going for 200whp

Topped out at 201whp, pulls like a train through all the gears, smooth throttle whilst still very responsive but mostly f**king quick

    Hull ferry

Also worth it because Marty Nutt runs in the Ducati 848 challenge, don't know if they give good deals to bikers because of that but I'm guessing some of the profits go towards the team. Got some hospitality tickets from them couple of years ago at Oulton park, good bunch.

    Going for 200whp

Interesting video, would have been more interesting if they had taken the baffle out for the first run, didn't look very high flow! I know other people who swear by race oils, rock oil is a well known one, not sure I'd want to run less than 0w long term, engine bearings and crank shafts are...

    s1000rr?? Or should I...

I had a go in a mates fire blade, thought I'd got on a 600 by mistake! Very different bikes, try both and see what takes you. They reportedly have some niggles but mine is 2yrs old with 5k on the clocks with no problems so far, I think the build quality of the Honda is probably better but that...

    Going for 200whp

Lol, I spoke to him but he did not inspire enough confidence for me I started at 185 stock, put a system and rapid bike on it and it went to 190, wasn't happy with the fuelling so took it to some one else, sure enough the fuelling was miles out, he dyno'd it at 186 and we got it back to 191 so...

    Going for 200whp

Trying for 200whp Currently have 191 with full arrow system, rapid bike race module and filter Head is just going back on having had ports tidied, valve cut head gasket tweaked and cams to be dialled in. Do you think we'll make it?

    Four Runs Out,,Four New Faults

Lack of grease on the front spindle only makes it difficult to remove the spindle from the bearings to get the wheel out. That won't make a squeek
