    Second Lithium Dead

Well done Stuart. Glad you got it sorted. Looks a bit fiddly to get the Reg/Rec out - bendy screwdriver and tiny fingers needed by looks of it.

    Second Lithium Dead

Hi Stuart, were you having battery trouble before you switched to the new Lithium one? Something I've always wondered about is that the Lithium batteries need special mains chargers because of their tech (they seem to be very sensitive to over or under voltage and charge rate), but then we put...

    California Superbike School UK

Any training is worthwhile. If you've booked these days then enjoy them! One advantage of the CSS days is that you can experiment with bike control (throttle, gears etc) without worrying about holding people up or impolite passing as you might get on a regular track day with tuition.

    California Superbike School UK

I have done CSS and would agree with bananaman that 1 to 1 tuition is better value. CSS level 1-2 is very formulaic about riding 'drills' - these can be interesting to learn about the 'physics' of riding, particularly for new riders, but somebody specifically focussed 1 to 1 on your riding is...

    Petrol consumption Gen4

Normal unleaded 95 RON contains 5% Ethanol (E5). Premium 97 or 99 RON doesn't at present.

    Today was Battery day

These stop-start batteries are a real pain. Not only do they cost an arm and a leg but you need to recode the car when you change the battery. The stop start function 'learns' the capacity of the battery, and you need to reset it so it 'forgets' the lower capacity of the dead batttery. For...

    Ebay Issues

Good result Stuart. Yes, eBay can be good. I've mostly had no bother with eBay & buy a lot on there. Once had expensive bit of secondhand equipment from USA seller that turned out to be non-functional. Seller went silent, but got full refund from eBay. Another time with UK seller got scammed...

I agree. I avoid Ryaniar if possible. Looking at the interest allowed by the court that would have been an extra ?18. All a question of how much effort the small claims is. I've used it sucessfully several times with airlines in the past. I knew they would pay up in the end, but they are...

Yes, potentially. I was on the point of taking them to the small claims court to get the refund where I would have added interest.

Yes, agree. One of my cancelled Spain flight's last year was with BA and refund was prompt.

Just today got ?300 refund from Ryanair for flight to Jerez that THEY cancelled in May 2020. Real pain to get money back from this company. 1. They make website refund option really difficult to find below rebooking and voucher options - requested refund in May 2020 - get email saying it...
