    Cadwell 7th and 8th June

Glad to hear you got some decent sessions despite the rain yesterday. I hope today has better weather. Cadwell has a bit of a micro-climate that seems to attract clouds, but it does tend to change quickly. Keep an eye out on Barn turn if its been wet - it takes a long time to dry out. Good...

    Disc Wear

To me it's the deep grooves that dont look right. High friction pads could cause surface marking. As Stuart says I'd check the pads to see if there is anything abrasive stuck on them that caused the grooves. I once got trackday rubber kicked up and stuck on the pads that caused brake binding...

    Disc Wear

Picture number 2 doesn't look right for new discs with only 40 miles on them! Looks like pretty bad scoring, like something has got trapped between pad and disc - possibly gravel or fricton material broken off.

    Croft 20th/21st

Good call Stuart. Think the oil filled ones are a marginally safer (less fire risk) but slower to warm up an area. Thought you?d be aware of CO from property rentals. Also a problem in leisure (camping / boats). Generators/heaters etc. Those disposable BBQs can be deadly if used inside (or...

    Croft 20th/21st

Hi Stuart, sorry that the track time was a bit if a washout, but sounds like ?the craic? was good. An extra set of rims with wets sounds like a good idea for UK track days. Hope your Caldwell trip is better. PS Shame that the wee electric heater was defective. If it was me I?d steer clear...

    Hello guys and girls

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy the bike! +1 on Alex's suggestion or radiator guard and crash protection. Crash protection is well worth it even if you don't actually crash - can save a lot of money on new fairings / engine covers after embarrassing car park or driveway drops.

    Rotor Bolts

I had a smilar issue with mine when I changed rotors. Turned out to be old threadlock in the hole that hadn't been cleaned out first time. I didnt use any heat - if you have don the threadlock may be baked on, but should cut away with a thread tap. As Paul says it is is important to tighten...

The chain adjusters do look good, but how do they work? Looks like nothing is pushing the axle back to tension the chain??

    Wheel bearing play

+1 I would change the cush drive first. With the wheel off and cush drive off it should be easy to feel if bearing loose or worn.
