At 230Wh on mains (basically 1 Amp @ 230v) I don't think it will last long with a mains powered battery charger even if it's only trickle charging.
If you have an indoor parking area then I reckon you'd be better off leaving a car battery where you park up and hooking up an Optimate cable...
1:54 is a decent Inters pace considering the dubious weather. The main thing is that you went out and didn't waste your money by having to stay in.
Shame about the lack of tyre support. If you have wets on standby then the cost of swapping them over if you don't have WOW's is negligible. I...
My rear SC2 is peeling on the leading edge of the tread, so I reckon the preload is too soft.
It's got DDC, but I don't know what settings/dials I have on the rear shock. Ideas anyone?
Race mode seems to reduce it's effect, but unless there is a menu that can disable RW lift, then it's Slick or User mode only, in which case I lose FW lift
As title.
I've been riding my Gen 3 on track in Slick mode so I can run without the the Rear Wheel lift detection so it doesn't reduce my breaking when hard on the brakes. However, I lose Anti Wheelie control.
I have my ABS turned off via the ABS button, but is there a way to run with some...
Yeah they have a motor attached to each rear calliper for the handbrake. It's a pretty simple setup, in that the hydraulics operate the rear brakes as normal, but the motors kick in for the handbrake.
You can lift the back off the ground and try to spin the wheels by hand to see if the...
You'll have a decent amount of toys in that SE Lux. I had a V60 SE (non Lux) and was well loaded with electric heated memory seats/mirrors, Nav, decent sound system, active headlights etc. The 2.4 is a strong engine too, used in quite a few models.
These used to be based on the Vauxhall Vectra C (2003-2009) and share a lot of parts.
I had the 2004 3.2 V6, but then they launched the 2.8 V6 Turbo mostly found in the 280ps Vectra VXR and poverty spec 250ps Vectra base model & police cars.
My guess is that Saab ran a mix of 4x4 with...
Just done my first proper dry day on the Gen3 at Cadwell.
I don't know how the lap time stacks up, but does anyone know what the DTC and Brake number relate to as they vary depending on the lap.
For the life of me I can't seem to get this working.
I've set it to be triggered manually and set the screen to show Last and Current lap times, but pressing the headlight flasher button does nothing, whether I'm sat in the garage or riding the bike. Am I doing something wrong?
Good shout, disconnecting the DDC worked.
I Turned the ignition on with it disconnected it as I have MotoScan and the OBD-LX in case I need to scan the bike (mainly bought it to reset the service interval though).
Plugged the DDC back in and turned the ignition back on and the calibration...
DDC calibration failed again with the bike on the side stand, before and after removing the negative battery lead and putting the kettle on before trying again. Might be needing a software update.
Just checked the gearing and it's 17/45.
Yes it's a gen 3.
centre swingarm pivot to centre rear...
Thanks guys. Good advice there.
So if I put the ABS back on, but go to User mode (I have Slick & User modes available), then should it stop the ABS kicking in when the rear lifts as I can cope with the back moving under braking as that's exactly what my old 2006 Fireblade did which didn't have...
Just managed my first trackday on this bike and have a few questions.
- The ABS kicks in when the back goes light, probably due to rear wheel lift. I turned the ABS OFF and went from Sports mode to Race mode to stop this. Is there a way to limit ABS without turning it OFF?
- The bike wants to...
