    Couldn't stay away.

I have the same Wunderlich seat I put on when doing longer trips and have had no issues with comfort on 8hr+ days. Use the OEM one for track riding and short rides.

UK Noise Limits With An Akra Full System

Maybe engine braking effect is a little more noticeable. But overall no noticeable difference to me, you might be able to pick it up on a Dyno. Bike is mapped so its way better than stock anyway.

UK Noise Limits With An Akra Full System

Fail Brands (92) and Donington (98) drive by limits without a baffle. K67, arrow stainless headers, Akra ti can. Can’t be arsed with the messing about anymore. Baffle stays in.

    MPW tyre warmers

I tested my old warmers over the weekend before committing to a purchase. I knew they were a bit **** and didn't fit well, but still pretty surprising results. I upped my budget to spend a bit more on a premium pair and forego the adjustability as I don't (yet) have wets for the RR. Went for...

    MPW tyre warmers

How often are you guys using the thermostat to adjust temps, or are you using it just to know they are working and up to temp ~85 deg?

    MPW tyre warmers

The MPW ones I am looking at are £208 so even the Diamond and Capit look a bit spicy in comparison! |

    MPW tyre warmers

Been considering new tyre warmers. My 10 year old Race Tech ones are near the end of their life and have never properly fitted a 200 section rear. Have noticed MPW seem to be popular in the garages these days. Assume a few here must use them? I am looking at the digital ones with the...

    PPF

I fitted mine yesterday. Took me 2.5 hours including cleaning the panels before application and I've never done it before. I installed it to protect factory bodywork from stone damage on track and any rubbing from transportation. The kit had about 14 pieces and I was only intending to do the...

    K67 RS2E V2024 - Review

When I was out over the weekend I was trying to figure out if I would benefit from their shorter throttle or not, I probably reached a similar conclusion, I've not struggled on track getting to WOT, and its nothing that bothered me. At the same time I use it as a road bike, so lets not get too...

    K67 RS2E V2024 - Review

Alex, when you had your 2017 bike you had the RS2E guys do the shorter throttle mod, but you decided not to do that on your 2023 bike, is that right? And any reason for that ? thanks,

    BMW being dumb...

I've not yet got the GPS Data Logger, although its on the wishlist. I saw someone repurpose a Gen4 number plate holder, (cut down to size) to mount the GPS mouse on the bit that faces skyward. Seemed a good solution, and would mean you can keep the GoPro mount.

Help to describe issue with full throttle upshift on quick shifter

BMW can't see the bike for another couple of weeks & I was very close to buying a GS-911 today to see if I could reset or reconfigure something. I had yet another check of chain, levers, QS and then went for a run up the road. However after playing around I figured out the cause, its wind...

Help to describe issue with full throttle upshift on quick shifter

@MrSmooth - thanks, I wont dismiss any of those pointers and will go over over everything again. The bike is in race shift but, still, expectations are that it works. @alex - that's reassuring, meaning it's likely a software based problem, assume it was the RS2E map you've written about. Why...

Help to describe issue with full throttle upshift on quick shifter

Not mapped, plan to take it to Crowe Perf but not yet spoken to them re booking it in. But now feel like this issue needs to be fixed before I took it anywhere for additional work. Wasn't aware of the QS retrain, but have found the procedure - thanks, will try that tomorrow.
