Your opinion you?re welcome to it. just pointing out you don?t have to remove the exhaust, if you can remove it without taking it off I don?t think that?s a bad thing, they normally chew the ends even with good access and the clip is 0.50p

In case others ask, can be done for the cost of a new clip, no removing exhaust

Been out in the garage this morning, made a quick video. By cutting the back of the clip off with a standard pair of side cutters the clip pops out. Fitting the new clip I used a dab of grease on the trim clip screw and a pair of plastic protected long nose pliers to push the clip back together...

Happy new year, hopefully get some decent weather soon to fit my goodies and ride the bike

I agree, all they do is slate others mods mainly cos they either don?t have a bike in first place or they?re just jealous

No, there are 2 mounting points including a locator pin that sits in the swingarm mount, both points are used to lift the machine. Like I said pretty much same as the plate for my gen3 except the boss on gen4 is different size

Already fitted now, but the bolt is sufficiently longer to account for the fact it seats inside the boss then threads into the original mounting point

You remove the existing bolt and the boss sits in the recess, it?s then secured with a new longer bolt. Same as the adapter plate I had for my gen 3 except the boss is different size, never had any issues with my gen3 don?t foresee any with this machine either

:drunk: on a front end smash you?d probably have a lot more to worry about than this

There wouldn?t be enough purchase for the insert to safely lift the machine
