Need help in achieving '24 K66 geometry settings somewhat identical to '21 K67 M package...

I had a 99 R1 with uprated forks and yokes and a Ohlins rear shock when I bought a new K6 GSXR 1000 in 2006. All the magazines were raving about the K5/6 at the time, but the bloody thing kept running wide when it was pushed. I had to drop the yokes and fit a spacer on top of the rear shock to...

Unfair PCP & HP deals - £1000 compensation

Did I get the £1000, or did the dealer to enable them to discount the bike/car. So the so called deposit contribution may just be a way to discount the bike without devaluing it.

Unfair PCP & HP deals - £1000 compensation

I had 2 finance deals in the qualifying period, only took the finance to get the £1000 contribution that was being thrown in. Both Ford and BMW have said they can't find me on their systems, I expect they try that with every claim. Unfortunately for them, I saved the paperwork.

S1000RR Sport 2020 Ownership - When is enough enough...?

I know, but how much does that cost and would you persevere with a lemon.

S1000RR Sport 2020 Ownership - When is enough enough...?

The BMW dealer I bought my Gen 2 from were fine up until the 5th annual service. After completing that service they informed me there was a puncture in my rear tyre, and they were closing. A dark winter night and 30 miles from home I wasn't impressed. Their advice, try and find petrol stations...

S1000RR Sport 2020 Ownership - When is enough enough...?

OP bought the bike in 2020 and the warranty runs out in 2025?

    2025 S1000RR

Google 2025 S1000RR and pics turn up, I suppose the clue is I've never heard of the posters. I don't know why BMW won't fit Ohlins suspension, and Bembo brakes now, when they're standard on other premium sports bikes. My new late 22 S1000RR cost me around £15500, and I'd have paid an extra...

    2025 S1000RR

Seen what's purporting to be pics/specs of the 2025 S1000RR online, is there anything official from BMW yet? I was thinking about a new Fireblade early next year, mainly for the Ohlins suspension and perhaps build quality. Unless the new BMW is a decent uprate of the 24 model.

    Down shift assist?

I've started holding the throttle slightly open when down shifting, and it shifts down several gears easily with no resistance. Or I do it with the clutch and blip the throttle, I've never thought the autoblip revved it high enough anyway.

    Down shift assist?

Was this stiff down change with closed throttle resolved on the bikes affected? When I spoke to the service manager he was aware of it affecting some bikes, and said they'd take the bike back in and investigate it. But I think I'll wait until I take the bike off the road for the winter, then...

    K67 RS2E V2024 - Review

I ride around 3k miles a year, only on dry roads I know really well. And 2-3 hours at the quietest time, is typically my limit. I expect that Neevsey does a lot more road miles a year than me, and it would be a disaster for him if he lost his licence. I also suspect that if like me, he didn't...

    K67 RS2E V2024 - Review

I wasn't quoting you verbatim. I fitted the slick plug at 600 miles on my Gen 2, and always ran it in slick mode. And only run my Gen 4 in dynamic mode if the road is bumpy, otherwise it's in race. So applying your logic I must be thrashing my bikes on the road. And as for the safe, swift...

    K67 RS2E V2024 - Review

On the road, anything more than rain mode is unnecessary?

    Gen 4 headers.

Apologies for not replying, haven't checked this recently. Someone did offer me a nearly new set for £50, but I haven't been in the area to see them.

    Down shift assist?

Just for the record, I'm quite fond of tits.

Phil Crowe was the reference for my original post.

    Down shift assist?

It's the K67 garage, if you think posting misinformation is absolutely fine, you are the tit.

    Down shift assist?

May be unrelated, but using shift assist my gen2 changed up smoother when the gearbox was under load. Seems the same for changing down on the gen 4. Come the end of the riding season, I'll expect it to be sorted out under warranty.

    Who makes Motorrad oil.

Thanks. Guess I'll be using the left over 300V to lubricate the hedge trimmer :(.
