My Gen 4 was noticeably noisier than my Gen 3 when riding through towns etc at lower rpm. Interestingly, I haven?t noticed it on the XR, so I suspect it?s something to do with the shift-cam

In my experience worn cush drives cause the snatchy on off throttle feeling you described. When on paddock stands, when you gently start rotating the wheel, if there?s a lag between the wheel moving and the chain moving, it?s likely the Cush drives are worn
