    Is it just me......

Or does it seem very quiet on the forum of late. There does not seem to be much going on in the "welcome" area either so not lots of new members. Cost of living? Just the time of year?

    Suitable constands equivalent

I've never used a sky lift but is it not possible to mount the bike on a rear paddock stand and then while the bike is vertical and stable fit the sky lift? Just raising the sky lift to the correct height while on the paddock stand?

Shoei X-Spirit 3 top vent removal

I've got a Shoei X-Spirit 3 and want to strip the shell down to clean the air vents. Boy are there a collection of dead things in there! The lower chin ones look easy enough as they are held in with screws. Its the top vent I'm nervous about. Has anyone removed theirs previously? Any hints tips...

    BMW Tank Bag Small (1.5L)

Nothing quite as classy as a can of coke, but it will take a 440ml can of Tennents! And a tin of chopped tomatoes. Not ideal for the weekly shop but will cover your needs. Checking the Ilmberger website the tank cover (which the bag fits to) is the same for the R, RR and M from 2019 onwards...

    interchangable parts

I'm just checking to see if the tank cover is the same for an S1000RR and an M1000RR. I used the Ilmberger website to see which parts have the same part numbers across the different ranges. You could use that as they make stuff for both bikes.

    Gen 4 standard seat

I have a standard Gen 4 seat for sale, used. If you have an M bike and plan to do any sort of miles you need one of these. The difference in comfort between the M bike seat and the standard bike seat is night and day. The standard seat is very like the seat on the Gen 3 and you can do decent...

    1250GSA to 1250RS

Alex is doing a great job with the form, more flying than ticking over :eagerness: I'm conflicted with the RS. Ride magazine had a review on it last month (Simon Hargreaves) and he loved it. The same magazine the month before compared the RS with the Ninja SX1000. They said the Ninja was the...

I don't think you can get an M7 in 200 section anyway.

    M9rr tyre

I've found the M9's to be excellent. But I guess it depends on what you plan to do with them. What was it about the M9 you didn't like and why do you think the M7 is better? Just curious.

    Worth it?

Agree - Tom at smilegraphics did the decals for my Ilmberger bell pan. Great job.
