    Bike seems hot

they run hot, I've just put a new rad on mine which helps a lot, but it was till 103 in the traffic yesterday, but only 90 something once over 30 mph. temp light comes on at 118 apparently. i don't think mines been over 112 113! last summer had to do 100mph to keep below 100 degrees! but air...

    Cam chain rattle

I've just got the silver one, it came with 2 o rings, the big one is for the plug but can't see where the little one would go? I've looked at my haynes manual and bmw CD, they don't show it. MAXBMW parts fiche doesn't either, but the photo of the part shows 2 inc the little one! I suppose it...

    Radiator upgrade

yep, ****** one didn't have mounts for rad cowl (not an issue), or for indicator connectors (cable tie) or bottom mounting clip again not issue, needed to cable tie speed sensor wiring and washers to space out oil cooler mount. otherwise all good screw clip for expansion tank, reused everything else

    Valve clearance service

mine aren't ddc, but you need a spring compressor, and the oil level syringe tool, also some h plates to hold spring once compressed, i've also got a threaded rod to pull damper rod up and down. generally don't need to split the leg out ie bolt at the bottom. there is some plastic bushing which...

K46 Various warning lights - Warning, ABS, DDC warning + no speed indication

mine had a problem with the loom chaffing between airbox and frame, think it must have been the earth as didn't blow a fuse. but the clocks eventually stopped working at all after flickering (lights didn't work either)

    Valve clearance service

I just get them to check the valves and change the plugs while they are there (coolant too). costs about half of the full deal. fork oil due too can do yourself fairly easily, mines had 3 big ones now, not had a shim changed yet

    Rectifier removal

easier with shock out have managed to get it out sometimes wiring is quite difficult ive had to change generator several times original reg rec is still ok though abba stand and just undoing top mount could be enough

    Low beam not working.

My issue turned out to be a chaffed wire between the frame and air box, which meant the clocks lost power, so no lights clocks etc eventually, but it did show as no ECU on GS111. I don't think the LH switch gear does anything to the dip just main. bike does switch it off after initial switch on...
