Part For Sale Bonamici Dashboard Protector

Simple to fit. Remove the front fairing; unplug dash and fit the protector. I had it fitted with race fairings but the link to the Bonamici website below has images of it fitted with the standard OEM fairings and screen. https://www.bonamiciracing.it/en/bmw-s1000rr-23-23.html

    Worst jobs on these bikes

Try fitting one on the new M! Getting the carbon fibre fairings on and off is akin to building IKEA furniture without the instructions. However, the absolute worst job is removing the ABS system and fitting a thumb brake. FML.

    Motomillion M1000RR troubles

No, I meant K66 as in M1000RR. The engine internals (2023+) are different to the standard K67 / S1000RR (Gen 4/5).

    Motomillion M1000RR troubles

The K67 and K66 engines differ quite significantly. It’s noticeable as soon as you get one on track.

    Motomillion M1000RR troubles

Mine went straight to Portimao after running in. This bike is completely wasted on the road.

It also states no full load until at least 1,000 Km.

    Motomillion M1000RR troubles

BMW wanted me to do a minimum of 500 miles on mine before removing the rev limiter.

    Motomillion M1000RR troubles

And removed the rev limiter before completing the required run-in mileage… What could possible go wrong…

    Motomillion M1000RR troubles

So the individual fits a load of modifications to the airbox; changes velocity stacks; relocates parts that don’t need relocating and alters the ECU (including changes to ignition tables and mapping) with a dubious flash… and then wonders why a race homologated engine goes pop.

“M” Start up screen logo with GS911?

Interesting. Never seen it on the GS-911 menu options. I actually prefer the start-up screen on the K67 rather than the one on my K66 which simply says ‘M’.
