It might be that you have inadvertently turned off the ASC (automatic stability control). It is operated on and off using the ABS button. Press and hold the ABS button and it might clear it.

As you clean the edges it lifts the film further and in time further dirt accumulates and makes the dirty edges even worse.

I've had my venture shield on my bike from new,so now two years. It was professionally fitted. However I am now left feeling a little disappointed. Along the edges in places dirt has collected and this starts to show the outline of the film. This really shows up agsinst the white of the fairing.
