Are they still advertising the chain as maintenance free? I thought they had changed it to something along the lines of “reduced maintenance” because of it being utter BS.

If their diagnostic won’t connect then that usually means the ECU has failed, if there are no obvious wiring issues then that’s more than likely what’s happened. They should put a known good one in place to see if it will then connect, that would almost certainly show that it’s faulty.

As above, also check all connections and grounds.

IIRC the recommended adjustment will be clutch cable free play or clutch lever free play as they may call it. This is the amount the clutch lever moves before tension is placed upon the cable. The rule of thumb is if you can’t achieve this at the clutch lever through the adjustment there then...
