    Engine oil

I've always thought it's better to see the oil discolouring. I'd rather the oil picked up all the contaminants in the engine, least then they aren't getting left behind in the engine when you drop the oil

    Coronavirus/House Boredom

I'm working away until the 1st of April. Hoping that either ferries or planes are still sailing or flying for me to get home. Then it will be 3 weeks of riding, both indoors and out

Spain tracks are closed due to COVID

It's a scary prospect as to what is going to happen to the world economy. But first and foremost UK goverment has to follow what everybody else has already implemented and take drastic action to stop the spread. They can worry about fixing the economy once they start getting it under some sort...

get your gen 4 carbon wheel balancing checked.lol

Could this attribute towards carbon wheels failing. 45g with the wheel turning fast enough to be doing near 200mph must equate to quite a large centrifugal force, putting the carbon into tension.

    Workshop 2020

Re: Winter Workshop Ye, I thought about that yesterday. It's up on the ramp just now, as I was fitting a oil pressure test gauge, as the one on the dash was reading low, so I was paranoid the bottom end was on its way out. Test gauge has put my mind at ease and plenty pressure there. If the...

    Workshop 2020

Re: Winter Workshop Some fresh fluid, spark plugs and a little clean up. Took the fairings off to do it 18 months ago, and never did anymore. Fully stocked up on beer and dragged it out to get it sorted to get it on the road this summer. It's been neglected since the s1000 came along

A mate selling this. Over your budget stu, but might be of interest to somebody else on the forum. I'm not overly clued up but sounds like a good spec, and knowing the fellow it will of wanted for nothing. He has replaced it with an R1. EDIT... Photo won't upload cause my internet is pish. Its...

    2003 Gixxer 750

It was on a facebook page, something along the lines of A82 road watch. Average cameras on a road like that will cause more accidents! Lorries doing 40, vans doing 50 and cars getting frustrated and overtaking in dodgy places. But at least the government can fine people for trying to go about...
